Not medical advice
All content on this website is for general educational purposes and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. GlycoFortin is a dietary supplement. It is not a treatment for type 1 or type 2 diabetes, prediabetes, insulin resistance, liver disease, pancreatic disease or any other condition, and it does not replace insulin, diabetes medicines, a healthy diet or your doctor's care. Never stop, skip or change any prescribed medicine without your doctor's advice. If you have diabetes or prediabetes, keep checking your blood sugar as your doctor recommends and keep up with regular A1C tests and eye, foot and kidney check-ups.
Low blood sugar risk
Several ingredients in GlycoFortin, including chromium, gymnema and ginseng, may lower blood sugar. If you take insulin or medicines such as sulfonylureas, the combination may cause low blood sugar. Signs include shakiness, sweating, a fast heartbeat, hunger, dizziness, irritability and confusion. Treat it with fast-acting sugar, recheck your level, and contact your doctor.
When to get emergency help
Call 911 or your local emergency number right away for low blood sugar that does not improve after treatment, fainting or seizures, or very high blood sugar with vomiting, fruity-smelling breath, deep rapid breathing, severe thirst or confusion. Also seek emergency care for chest pain, a racing or irregular heartbeat, or signs of an allergic reaction.
Ingredients and safety
GlycoFortin contains a proprietary blend of 23 ingredients. Chromium, gymnema, Panax ginseng and other ingredients may lower blood sugar, so anyone taking insulin or other diabetes medicines may be at risk of low blood sugar and must check levels and talk to their doctor before use. Guarana, green tea leaf extract and ginseng contain caffeine or have stimulating effects, which may cause jitteriness, a fast heartbeat or trouble sleeping. Grapefruit extract can interact with many medicines, including some statins, blood pressure and heart medicines. Coleus forskohlii may lower blood pressure and increase bleeding risk; monoammonium glycyrrhizinate (from licorice) may raise blood pressure and lower potassium; L-tryptophan should not be combined with antidepressants or other serotonin-affecting medicines; L-tyrosine should not be combined with MAO inhibitors or thyroid hormone; L-arginine may lower blood pressure; and ginseng may interact with blood thinners. GlycoFortin is intended for adults; it is not for children, anyone under 18, or women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Talk to your doctor before use if you take any medication or have a medical condition, including high or low blood pressure, heart, kidney or liver problems, an anxiety disorder or a sleep disorder, and stop use and seek medical care if you notice unusual symptoms.
Testimonials
Customer testimonials are reproduced from stories shared on the official GlycoFortin website and reflect personal experiences. They are not a guarantee of results, have not been independently verified by this website, and are not medical advice; everyone responds differently. Do not stop, skip or change insulin or any diabetes medicine based on a testimonial. Some customers featured on this website may have received compensation, such as free product, for their review and likeness.
Bonus guides
The free bonus guides contain general recipe, lifestyle and fitness information and are not medical advice. No dessert or recipe "burns fat" on its own, and joint pain should be evaluated by a doctor.
